Kerry and Dublin have been handed fitness boosts ahead of the All-Ireland SFC Quarter-Finals.

Both Kerry defender Gavin White and Dublin attacker Cormac Costello expect to be fully fit for those matches.

Costello hasn’t played for Dublin since their first match of the group phase when he picked up what he describes as “a knock” against Roscommon, but expects to be back in action soon.

“It just happened near the end of the Roscommon game,” says Costello. “It was just bad timing. The games were coming thick and fast.

“I’m hoping to be back for the next day. It’s a slow enough healer. All I can do is try and get back fit and back in the team now.”

Gavin White missed Kerry’s win over Louth at the weekend due to a tight calf muscle, but also expects to be available for selection for the Kingdom’s quarter-final tie.

"I picked up a small knock there during the week in training, and unfortunately, I just wasn't fit for last weekend," said White.

"But I should be fit for the next day, hopefully."
