Offaly survived a spirited late Laois rally to advance to the EirGrid Leinster Under 21 decider.

Despite conceding an early goal to Colm Murphy Offaly responded with Ciaran Farrell netting a major.

At the interval the Faithful County, with Paddy Dunican impressive, led 1-5 to 1-3.

After the restart Adam Mahon added a second goal for Offaly, who led by 2-8 to 1-4 with 10 minutes remaining.

In the closing stages Sean Moore goaled a penalty for Laois, but Offaly held on.

Cork and Kerry will contest the EirGrid Munster Under 21 Final at Pairc Ui Rinn on March 29.

Tyrone and Donegal must meet again at Ballybofey next Wednesday following a gripping game at Healy Park.
