2017 Bord Na Móna O'Byrne Cup fixtures released

The fixtures for the 2017 Bord Na Móna O'Byrne Cup have been released by Leinster GAA.
Reigning All-Ireland and Allianz National Football League champions, Dublin, will get their season underway with a first-round match against DCU on January 8.
Jim Gavin's team will also face off against UCD and Wexford in Group 1, so new Slaneysiders boss Seamus 'Banty' McEnaney will face a stiff early test.
Another newly appointed manager, Meath's Andy McEntee, will have a home clash against Wicklow as his first match in charge of the Royals who are reigning champions. Also in Group 3 with Meath and Wicklow are Laois and DIT.
Group 2 is made up of Kildare, Offaly, Longford, and IT Carlow, while Westmeath, Louth, Carlow and Maynooth University will compete in Group 4.
The winners of Group 1 will play the winners of Group 2, and the winners of Group 3 will play the winners of Group 4 in the semi-finals.
