There was plenty of drama at Croke Park on Sunday as Louth caused a surprise against Dublin with Craig Lennon, who scored 1-2, an influential figure. Lennon drove forward repeatedly for Louth, supplying the decisive goal in the closing stages.
Ryan O'Donoghue (Mayo)
Providing leadership and scores, Ryan O'Donoghue starred in Mayo's All-Ireland SFC Round One win over Monaghan at St Tiernach's Park. O'Donoghue clipped eight points for Andy Moran's outfit.
Tomas McCormack (Armagh)
Another impressive display from Tomas McCormack helped Armagh to victory over Derry on Saturday. McCormack contributed two points and was lively throughout for Kieran McGeeney's team.
