Tomás Kennedy has been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

The promising Kerry forward received 3,053 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Donegal's Michael Langan (2,794) and Armagh's Conor Turbitt (1,283).

On a weekend of thrilling matches, emerging Kerry talent Tomás Kennedy proved to be an inspirational figure. Kennedy finished with 1-3 including the last gasp score which defeated Roscommon.

Michael Langan (Donegal)

Michael Langan delivered when Donegal required scores and leadership at Croke Park on a wet Saturday evening. Langan concluded an exciting encounter with a six point haul for Jim McGuinness' outfit.

Conor Turbitt (Armagh)

From an early stage in Clones it was apparent Armagh were primed for a battle. Conor Turbitt was at his dashing best for Kieran McGeeney's team, clipping six points in the convincing win over Monaghan.
