Firepower was critical in the John West Féile Peile na nÓg national division one final on Saturday.

O'Donovan Rossa, Magherafelt were crowned division one champions following a six point cup final win over fellow Oak Leaf club CLG Roibeard Eiméid, Sleacht Néill at the Derry Centre of Excellence on Saturday.

Goals proved the difference in the all-Derry affair as O'Donovan Rossa ran out 2-2 to 0-2 winners.

In the shield final, Cork’s Glanmire got the better of Kerry side Austin Stacks on a 3-3 to 0-4 scoreline.

And in the Plate decider, Derry side Ballinascreen beat another Oak Leaf club in Glen, 2-5 to 1-5.

In the LGFA finals, Claregalway defeated Ballinderry Shamrocks 1-8, to 0-3 to claim the national division one title, while Westport won the shield, beating Watergrasshill 5-1 to 4-3.
