The last round of group fixtures take place in the Electric Ireland Fitzgibbon Cup this week.
DCU Dóchas Eireann and UL have both already qualified from Group A following wins over Maynooth University.
So a home quarter-final is the prize on offer for whoever prevails in Wednesday evening's encounter - a repeat of the 2025 decider.
Sam Byrne and Ollie Gaffney struck goals for DCU Dóchas Eireann against Maynooth.
UL's star studded panel includes Tipperary's Darragh McCarthy and Oisín O'Donoghue, who were both in good scoring form when Maynooth were easily defeated a fortnight ago.
MTU Cork have already advanced as table toppers from Group B so Garda College's tussle with UCC is a winner takes all battle.
Daire O'Leary and Cian Boyle were prominent for Garda, who were eventually defeated by MTU Cork.
UCC will be hoping for strong displays from Darragh Stakelum, Ben Cunningham, and Peter McGarry.
TUS Midwest know that only a handsome victory will suffice against University of Galway, who've already defeated UCD.
Last week UCD, previously beaten by University of Galway, were 5-18 to 1-17 victors over TUS Midwest in Belfield.
Tipperary's Robert Doyle, Jack Leamy, and Kian O'Kelly are important players for TUS Midwest, who will know about University of Galway's considerable threat.
Sam O'Farrell, another All-Ireland winner with Tipp, Offaly's Charlie Mitchell and Ter Guinan are prominent figures in Frank Lohan's University of Galway panel.
In Group D, ATU Galway host Mary I at Liam Mellows.
Oisín O'Farrell netted four goals for Mary I, who enjoyed a productive outing against SETU Waterford a fortnight ago.
Darragh Walsh, Vince Harrington, Joe Caesar, and Shane O'Brien are all involved for Mary I.
Rory Burke remains an influential figure for ATU Galway, who also feature Cillian Trayers, Oisín Lohan, and John Cooney.
