Cathal O’Neill – Limerick
Cathal O’Neill produced an all-action display for Limerick on Sunday. He won a huge amount of possession, stretched the Galway defence time and again with his direct running, and was the game’s top-scorer with a tally of 1-4.
Aaron Gillane – Limerick
Limerick’s target-man was back to his very best on Sunday as he scored four points from play and created many opportunities for his team-mates, including Cathal O’Neill’s second-half goal.
Cian Lynch – Limerick
Cian Lynch was the midfield metronome that dictated the rhythm of Sunday’s All-Ireland Final. His ability to win ball and use it creatively was a joy to behold, and he also chipped in with two great points from play.
