Ireland v Australia - International Rules First Test
Unique Croke Park double-header this Saturday
This Saturday, October 26 sees a unique international double-header taking place in Croke Park as some of Ireland's finest Hurlers and Gaelic Footballers get the opportunity to represent their country on the international stage.
At 4.15pm, Ireland take on Scotland in the first test of the Senior Hurling/Shinty International series. That game will be followed at 7pm by the second test of the Irish Daily Mail International Rules Series, with Ireland carrying over a 22-point lead from the series opener against Australia at Kingspan Breffni Park last Saturday night.
In between the two games, at 6.20pm, Irish country singer Nathan Carter will entertain the crowd with a selection of songs including his popular hit 'Wagon Wheel'. Carter, a huge attraction on the Irish music scene, recently reached the coveted number one position in the Irish Charts with his fifth album.
Tickets, EUR25 for Adults and EUR5 for U16's, for the upcoming doubleheader in Croke Park can be purchased online at gaa.ie/tickets, Tickets.ie outlets and from Centra and SuperValu stores.
