CLARE

Ennistymon and Éire Óg will contest the Clare SFC Final.

On Saturday Ennistymon eventually overcame Kilmurry-Ibrickane following a penalty shootout. The match had ended level, 2-8 to 1-11, after extra-time.

Early on Cillian Rouine and Keelan Sexton traded goals with Ennistymon 1-4 to 1-2 ahead at the break.

With Sexton prominent Kilmurry-Ibrickane responded to force extra-time, 1-7 each.

Kilmurry were 1-11 to 1-8 ahead in the dying seconds, but Ciarán McMahon clipped a vital goal for Ennistymon, who subsequently prevailed.

Éire Óg, also in the hurling decider, proved far too strong for Corofin winning 1-11 to 0-3.

Gavin Cooney starred for the Ennis club, scoring 1-6 as they delivered an impressive display.

Joe Canning inspired Portumna to a preliminary quarter-final win over Craughwell on Saturday.

Canning struck 1-8 as Portumna defeated Craughwell 2-10 to 0-13.

Former Galway captain Fergal Moore netted a goal as Turloughmore beat Oranmore-Maree 2-14 to 0-11.

Cian Salmon's goal put Clarinbridge, with Evan Niland and Gavin Lee effective, on the road to a 1-18 to 1-11 success over Ardrahan.

Cappataggle were too crafty for Moycullen, earning a 0-17 to 0-10 to set up an intriguing quarter-final against holders St Thomas.

KERRY

A brilliant last gasp Paul Murphy point earned East Kerry a narrow 1-9 to 1-8 win over Dingle.

Murphy drilled a long range effort in the closing stages as East Kerry shrugged off Dingle's spirited resistance.

Tight throughout, Dingle, with Paul Geaney effective, led 0-5 to 0-3 at half-time as they restricted a talented East Kerry forward unit.

East Kerry clipped two points after the restart, but Dylan Geaney netted a 38th minute goal for Dingle to edge them three clear.

Paudie Clifford, though, replied with a goal for East Kerry, who eventually prevailed.

Eanna O'Connor and Liam Carey were in good scoring form as Mid Kerry defeated Feale Rangers 0-15 to 0-9.

Mid Kerry dominated the game and led by 0-15 to 0-3 before a late Feale Rangers rally narrowed the gap.

Kilmallock pounced for an injury time goal in Bruff to defeat Doon 1-13 to 2-9.

Darragh Stapleton's 13th minute goal ensured Doon led 1-6 to 0-5 at half-time.

In the second period Dean Coleman added a second Doon major as they moved 2-7 to 0-6 in front.

Under pressure, Kilmallock responded with Robbie Egan's dramatic late goal decorating a gutsy revival.

Na Piarsaigh overcame South Liberties 1-23 to 0-9 on Saturday.

At the interval Na Piarsaigh led 0-8 to 0-5, but they dominated after the restart.

Kevin Downes struck eight points during the game, Adrian Breen clipped 0-6 from play, while Daithí Dempsey added an injury time goal.

Shane Scott scored a last gasp goal as Westport defeated Castlebar Mitchels 1-11 to 1-10 at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park.

Castlebar had edged in front seconds earlier as Ethan Gibbons netted a penalty.

With Lee Keegan industrious Westport were 0-7 to 0-5 ahead at half-time.

When Gibbons steered Mitchels in front Westport were in bother, but they responded demonstrating admirable character.

Ballina Stephenites defeated Ballintubber 3-10 to 1-13 with Evan Regan, Frank Irwin, and Luke Doherty scoring goals.

Diarmuid O'Connor replied with a late Ballintubber major, but Ballina held on.

Prompted by the excellent Darragh and Ruairí Canavan, Errigal did enough to defeat 2021 winners Dromore.

Darragh Cavanan scored 0-6, while Ruairí guided over two important efforts for Erigal.

The promising Lorcan McGarrity contributed six points as Carrickmore beat Clonoe O'Rahilly's 0-11 to 0-8.

Errigal haven't won a Tyrone senior title since 2012, while Carrickmore's last success was in 2005.

Seán Whelan Barrett scored five points as Ballinacourty defeated Kilrossanty 0-8 to 0-4.

Conor Gleeson and Dylan Guiry netted goals as The Nire overcame Brickey Rangers 2-17 to 0-6.

Billy Power and Jason Curry landed late points as Rathgormack beat Portlaw 0-11 to 2-4.

JJ Hutchinson clipped four points as Gaultier defeated Clashmore Kinsalebeg 0-13 to 0-8.
