Former Na Piarsaigh manager Shane O'Neill will take charge of Galway in 2020.

Shane O'Neill has been ratified as the new Galway hurling manager.
On Friday evening O'Neill was appointed to the role on a two year term.
O'Neill guided Na Piarsaigh to an AIB All Ireland club, two Munster, and two Limerick SHC titles.
"Galway GAA are delighted to announce the appointment of Shane O’Neill as Manager of the Galway Senior Hurling team for 2020 & 2021," a statement said.
"The management team is being finalised.On behalf of all associated with Galway GAA, we would like to wish Shane and all involved every success."
