Kilkenny manager Derek Lyng has confirmed that Eoin Cody is available for Sunday's All-Ireland SHC Semi-Final against Tipperary.
The Ballyhale Shamrocks clubman missed the Leinster Final triumph over Galway. "Eoin is available for selection now again," Lyng said at a press briefing on Monday at UPMC Nowlan Park.
"He has come through the last few weeks and he's done very well. He has worked hard. Even in the run-up to the Leinster final, he was pushing hard.
"He was just kind of a week off at that stage and we didn't take the chance with him. Thankfully he has come through in the last few weeks."
Harry Shine, though, suffered a serious knee injury in training last week. "Unfortunately we've lost Harry Shine," Lyng remarked.
"He did his ACL last week, which is very unfortunate for him, particularly at this stage in his career.
"At the same time, he's done a huge amount of work and he'll get his head down and hopefully he'll have surgery in the next couple of weeks. He's going to have a road ahead of him but he'll get his head down and he'll get through that as well.
"It's unfortunate to lose him, especially for him. I feel sorry for him but he'll be back at some stage. Unfortunately his season is obviously over. That's one and unfortunately Marty Murphy is out for the next while as well with a hamstring injury."
