Jason Forde (Tipperary)

Jason Forde’s touch of class made the difference as Tipperary edged out Kilkenny by a point in FBD Insurance Semple Stadium. He scored five points from play and five frees, including the injury-time winner.

Darragh Fitzgibbon (Cork)

Cork midfielder, Darragh Fitzgibbon, was a driving force for the Rebels in their convincing win over Offaly. He scored 1-2 from play and hit a huge amount of ball to continue his very impressive early-season form.
