Today's draw for the 2021 Leinster SHC championship produced some very interesting match-ups.

Wexford will play Laois in the quarter-finals with the winner advancing to a semi-final clash against reigning champions Kilkenny.

On the other side of the draw Dublin go head to head with reigning Joe McDonagh Cup champions, Antrim, with the winner of that game then playing Galway in the semi-finals.

The quarter-finals and semi-finals will all be played at neutral venues.

Speaking after the draw this morning, former Kilkenny hurler and Laois manager, Eddie Brennan, tipped Galway as the most likely Leinster Champions this year.

"It's an interesting draw and means that Kilkenny and Galway are on opposite sides of it," said Brennan.

"I think they're two good quarter-finals, even though there'll be favourites in both. Laois and Antrim have big tasks but they're tasks that they'll embrace.

"It's very hard to know who (the Leinster champions) will be. I think Kilkenny came with a very strong finish to the Leinster Final last year and took it off Galway. I would imagine Galway will be really, really hungry and chomping at the bit.

"If you put a gun to my head I know who I want to win the Leinster Championship, my own county, but I've a funny feeling it could be Galway this year."
