London 2-11 Carlow 1-13

There was no shortage of drama at Netwatch Cullen Park as London staged a remarkable rally to defeat Carlow.

Michael Maher's team trailed by 1-10 to 0-3 in the 39th minute before staging a sensational comeback.

Colm Hulton's 15th minute goal helped Carlow into a 1-7 to 0-3 interval lead.

Carlow appeared to be in control, but a 45th minute red card issued to Jamie Clarke was a blow.

Suddenly London with Enda McCormick, Fearghal McMahon, and Liam Gavaghan prominent, responded.

Goals from McCormick and Gavaghan helped steer London, who hadn't played a competitive senior inter-county match since 2020, to a memorable victory.
