Kildare manager Cian O'Neill has confirmed that Ronan Sweeney and Enda Murphy will act as selectors for the Lilywhites next year.
Bryan Murphy, Padraig Brennan, and Brian Flanagan all recently stood down from their roles. "First of all, I would like to sincerely thank Bryan, Pádraig and Brian for their outstanding commitment, contribution and work ethic with regard to the Kildare Senior Football team in 2016," O'Neill said.
"Individually, they all brought their own unique thoughts, experiences and insights to the set-up while collectively we worked brilliantly as a team.
"One of the many reasons that I sought out the three lads to join the management team initially was their professional commitment and success off the field in addition to the many years of distinguished service that they gave to Kildare GAA on the field. "Ironically, it is this career success and progression that is the core determining factor in their departure from the set-up and I wish them well in the new challenges that lie ahead for each one of them.”

Sweeney, who was heavily involved in Niall Carew's Sligo set-up and Murphy will now work alongside O'Neill. “I am delighted to welcome Roli and Enda to the management team and really look forward to working with them to further develop the senior footballers of Kildare and ultimately make them a competitive force in football’s top tier," O'Neill commented.
"In our brief time working together in recent weeks, they have been hugely impressive and our collective vision as a management, aligned with the critical ambition and desire from the players, makes it an exciting time for the Kildare Senior Football team and we are all really looking forward to the 2017 season."
