Mark Timmons has been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

The experienced Laois star received 2, 342 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead Down's Pat Havern (1, 788) and Wexford's Mark Rossiter (1, 741).

Mark Timmons (Laois)

Mark Timmons' was a driving force as Laois enjoyed an encouraging away Tailteann Cup triumph over Fermanagh at Brewster Park. The experienced Timmons also scored 1-1 for Laois, who now face Limerick in the quarter-finals.

Pat Havern (Down)

A storming second half against Longford, aided by excellent contributions from substitutes, helped Down into the last eight of the Tailteann Cup. Pat Havern has been productive throughout the campaign for Conor Laverty's team, clipping five points at Páirc Esler.

Mark Rossiter (Wexford)

Wexford produced a brilliant attacking display to defeat Offaly in the Tailteann Cup at Glenisk O'Connor Park with Mark Rossiter impressing. Rossiter struck 1-4 for John Hegarty's improving outfit.
