Derry’s Shane McGuigan, Galway’s Cillian McDaid, and Kerry’s Tom O’Sullivan are this week’s nominees for the GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.
The voting process is simple: like their image on the GAA's official Instagram page.
Voting will close at 12pm on Tuesday, June 28, and the winner will be announced on GAA.ie.
Shane McGuigan – Derry
McGuigan was on fire for Derry in their impressive All-Ireland SFC Quarter-Final win over Clare. He scored a personal tally of 1-8, all of which was from play apart from a single free.
Cillian McDaid – Galway
McDaid was a midfield colossus for Galway in their dramatic All-Ireland SFC Quarter-Final victory over Armagh. He scored 1-2 from play, with the extra-time goal and last gasp equalising point which brought the match to penalties particularly crucial.
Tom O’Sullivan – Kerry
Corner-back O’Sullivan excelled for Kerry against Mayo. He held their main danger-man, Cillian O’Connor, to just a single point from play and galloped forward to score three points from play himself.
