The Defending Party, Stephen O’Brien (Kerry Footballer) was informed of the decision at the end of the Hearing and a formal notification will be sent today.

  • Stephen O’Brien (Kerry Footballer) – Alleged Infraction, Cynical Behaviour Infraction”, his third such infraction in the same year in the Inter-County Senior Football Championship/National Football League or a combination of both Competitions. “, Riail 7.2 (b) Category II T.O. 2019
  • CHC made the following decision –
  • 24th February 2019- Allianz Football League Roinn 1, Kerry v Galway - Proven
  • 3rd August 2019 - GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Championship, Kerry v Meath - Not proven. The Central Hearings Committee found the video evidence presented contradicted the Referee’s Report as the opponent that Stephen O’Brien collided with was not an opponent who had just played the ball away and the collision was not for the purpose of taking the opponent out of the movement of play.
