Aidan O'Shea has been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

The Mayo star received 4, 548 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Derry's Ethan Doherty (2, 340) and Galway's John Daly (2, 200).

Another splendid Mayo win was sprinkled with impressive displays with Aidan O'Shea maintaining his excellent form. The Breaffy star struck four points, including two from play, as Mayo advanced to next month's Allianz Football League Division One decider.

Ethan Doherty (Derry)

Derry achieved promotion following Sunday's Allianz Football League triumph over Clare at Owenbeg. The dynamic Ethan Doherty contributed three points from play.

John Daly (Galway)

Solid defensively, Galway earned an important Allianz Football League win over Armagh at BOX-IT Athletic Grounds on Saturday evening. Mountbellew-Moylough clubman John Daly was an influential figure for Pádraic Joyce's team throughout.
