Dioralyte Walsh Cup

Dublin 2-17 Wexford 1-11

Dublin finished strongly to set up a Dioralyte Walsh Cup semi-final against Westmeath.

Ahead 1-10 to 1-5 at the interval, Dublin assumed a decent position before Wexford narrowed the gap to two points.

Substitute Joe Flanagan netted a crucial goal for Dublin, who closed out the deal with the minimum of fuss.

In the opening period Ollie Gaffney pounced for a 21st minute Dublin major, but Tomás Kinsella replied with a Wexford goal.

After the restart Eoin Whelan landed a couple of fine points for the home team, but Dublin weren't overly concerned.

Flanagan gathered a pass from Darragh Kenny before supplying the insurance score.
