Steven Sherlock voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week

Steven Sherlock has been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

The Cork forward received 3,323 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Galway's Rob Finnerty (2,171), Donegal's Michael Langan (2,074), and Offaly's Dylan Hyland (1,282).

Steven Sherlock (Cork)

The accomplished Steven Sherlock starred in Cork's dramatic All-Ireland SFC win over Meath at Páirc Uí Rinn. The prolific St Finbarr's attacker finished with a 0-14 haul.

Rob Finnerty (Galway)

Rob Finnerty scored 1-9 from play as Galway defeated Kildare in Round One of the All-Ireland SFC. The Salthill-Knocknacarra clubman was at his best for Pádraic Joyce's outfit.

Michael Langan (Donegal)

Michael Langan continues to impress for Donegal, who produced a fine performance to overcome Kerry in the All-Ireland SFC at Fitzgerald Stadium. Langan clipped five points, including a two pointer.

Dylan Hyland (Offaly)

Another Dylan Hyland display inspired Offaly in the Tailteann Cup. Hyland, so impressive against Clare a fortnight ago, was similarly effective when contributing 1-11 against Down on Saturday evening.
