Westmeath's Luke Loughlin is this week's GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

The public has voted Luke Loughlin this week’s GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

Luke Loughlin (Westmeath)

Despite being forced off injured in the closing stages, Luke Loughlin had already delivered a typically stylish display for Westmeath, who surprised Meath in the Leinster SFC. The Downs clubman contributed six points for Mark McHugh's improving team.

Dessie Ward (Monaghan)

The experienced Dessie Ward continues to impress for Monaghan, who overcame neighbours Cavan in the Ulster SFC. Ward drove forward to supply 0-4, including one two pointer for Gabriel Bannigan's outfit.

Paddy Small (Dublin)

Paddy Small was a key figure as Dublin survived a real Leinster SFC scare against Wicklow in Aughrim. The talented Ballymun Kickhams attacker scored 1-6, including the decisive late goal.
