Hurling Development Roadshows to tour the country

A series of hurling development roadshows will take place around the country in the coming weeks to outline plans to grow the game of hurling in a meaningful way throughout the country.

These events will showcase the significant work already undertaken by the National Hurling Development Committee and newly appointed National Head of Hurling, William Maher, in this respect.

The first of seven Hurling Development Roadshow takes place in St. Mary’s University College, Belfast, on Friday, May 9 from 7pm to 8.30pm.

Chairperson of the National Hurling Development Committee, Terry Reilly, will give an overview of the National Hurling Development Priorities.

This will be followed by a keynote address given by GAA President, Jarlath Burns, on his vision for the future of hurling.

National Head of Hurling, William Maher, will outline strategic focus areas for 2025-2030 including provincial and county hurling plans and progress reporting.

HDC member, Neil McManus, will then host a question-and-answer session.

The dates and venues for all of the upcoming Hurling Development Roadshows are as follows, with all of them commencing at 7pm.
