GAA.ie Hurler of the Week nominees

Ronan Maher, Willie Connors, John McGrath, and Darragh McCarthy are this week's nominees for GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.

Ronan Maher (Tipperary)

Tipperary captain Ronan Maher led by example for Liam Cahill's charges. Maher produced a defiant display marking talented Cork forward Brian Hayes.

Willie Connors (Tipperary)

On Sunday at Croke Park, Willie Connors was an influential figure for Tipperary. Brave and assured, Connors contributed a typically wholehearted performance.

John McGrath (Tipperary)

Opportunistic forward John McGrath struck 2-2 as Tipperary enjoyed a productive afternoon at Croke Park. One of three brothers on the panel from the Loughmore-Castleiney club, McGrath starred at GAA headquarters again.

Darragh McCarthy (Tipperary)

Talented teenager Darragh McCarthy scored 1-13, including four points from play, as Tipperary triumphed. The promising Toomevara forward starred for the blue and gold outfit.
