GAA.ie Hurler of the Week nominees

Limerick's Aaron Gillane, Clare's Shane Meehan, and Dublin's Cian O'Sullivan are this week’s GAA.ie Hurler of the Week nominees.

Voting will close at 10am on Wednesday, April 8, and the winner will be announced on GAA.ie.

Aaron Gillane – Limerick

Aaron Gillane was on fire for Limerick in Sunday’s Allianz Hurling League Division 1A Final victory over Cork, scoring 1-4 from play. His goal especially was a thing of beauty as he showed great sleight of hand to create the opportunity and then buried a rasper of a shot to the net.

Shane Meehan – Clare

Shane Meehan has established himself as a fixture in the Clare team during their League campaign and showed why in the Division 1B Final against Dublin. He scored 1-3 from play and his movement and striking was a joy to watch.

Cian O'Sullivan – Dublin

Cian O’Sullivan did his best to inspire Dublin in their three-point defeat to Clare in the Allianz Hurling League Division 1B Final. He scored 1-10, 1-4 of it from play, and his goal was a typically clinical finish.
