GAA.ie Footballer of the Week nominees

Darragh Heneghan, David Clifford, and Dylan Hyland are this week's nominees for GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

Voting will close at 10am on Tuesday May 12, and the winner will be announced on GAA.ie.

Darragh Heneghan (Roscommon)

It was a memorable Connacht SFC Final for Darragh Heneghan, who contributed 2-2 in Roscommon's success over Galway. Heneghan was prominent throughout for Mark Dowd's outfit.

David Clifford (Kerry)

Despite missing key players due to injury, Kerry still found a way to defeat Cork in the Munster SFC decider with David Clifford in splendid form. The prolific Fossa clubman kicked 1-6 as Jack O'Connor's team prevailed.

Dylan Hyland (Offaly)

It has been a very tough 2026 so far for Offaly, but Saturday's Tailteann Cup triumph over Clare provided some encouragement. Dylan Hyland's brilliant kicking was evident, nailing nine points, including three two pointers.
