GAA.ie Footballer of the Week nominees

Jack Carney (Mayo)

On an unforgettable day for Mayo, Kilmeena's Jack Carney delivered in style. Carney rifled over a couple of two pointers, including an inspirational and crucial effort after Kerry had accumulated a seven point lead early on.

Darragh Beirne (Mayo)

Part of an exciting crop of new talent, Darragh Beirne starred in the All-Ireland SFC Final win. The Claremorris attacker struck a vital second half goal and finished with 1-3 as Andy Moran's charges prevailed.

Ryan O'Donoghue (Mayo)

Defiant and dynamic, Ryan O'Donoghue finished with five points, including a pair of long range two pointers. Belmullet clubman O'Donoghue also made an important burst to create Mayo's third quarter goal.
