The FRC have reviewed all 25 inter-county games since the commencement of the Senior Football Championship on the 5th to 27th of April 2025 (i.e. from the first round up to Provincial finals).

The Benefits Realisation Framework indicates that the rule enhancements, including those adjustments
ratified by Ard Chomhairle on 10th March 2025, are translating into real and measurable improvements.
Overall, the new rules are working as intended and the FRC recommends refraining from making any
further rule adjustments at this time.

The FRC will continuing to monitor, track and collect data over the next phase of the Senior Football
Championship and will provide a further progress report following the conclusion of the Tailteann Cup
Quarter-Finals and Round 3 of the Sam Maguire Cup.

The report in full can be viewed and downloaded below.
