Dingle’s New Hurling Journey | From School Pitch to Croke Park
From the school pitch to Croke Park - Hurling is back in Dingle!
In a community and County long known for its footballing tradition, a new chapter is being written. Thanks to the dedication of local teachers, coaches, parents, players, and Kerry games development officers, hurling has returned to C.L.G. Daingean Uí Chúis.
They are one of 45 GAA Clubs to receive the Hurling Development Starter Packs this year from the Hurling Development Committee.
This Heritage Week, we visited Dingle to highlight the people and the passion driving the next generation of hurlers - from after-school sessions, to Go Games, to playing on the biggest stage of all in Croke Park at the GAA Gaeilge Go Games.
