AIB Ulster Club SFC Round One
Edendork 0-17 Clonduff 0-12
Darren McCurry starred as Edendork advanced to the quarter-finals of the AIB Ulster Club SFC.
Inspired by McCurry, who finished the contest with an eight point haul, Edendork dealt with Clonduff's spirited challenge in Newry.
Brian McGuckin's outfit settled impressively with an early two pointer from McCurry a signal of intent.
Down standard bearers Clonduff responded courtesy of Barry O'Hagan and Stephen McConville, but Edendork continued to cause problems.
Goalkeeper Niall Morgan demonstrated his ability with a brilliant two pointer from play as Edendork departed 0-10 to 0-6 ahead at the interval.
Immediately after the restart, Clonduff reduced the deficit, but McCurry landed important scores for Edendork, who now meet St Brigid's next weekend.
