Paddy Fox

Paddy Fox talks about his early days playing football at National School and watching matches in Annaduff. He recalls travelling to matches on bicycle. He discusses the formation of Annaduff club in 1938, the impact of World War II on football in the area and the revival of the club under the influence of Fr Manning in 1958. He discusses family involvement in the GAA. He discusses the changes in style of football from his early playing days to now. He recalls Annaduff’s senior championship win in 2004 and the celebrations that ensued. Paddy talks about the importance of the GAA in communities and what his involvement has meant to him in his lifetime.
