Members of Laune Rangers GAA Club

Bart Moriarty, James Sheedhan and Noel O'Mahony talk of their experiences with the GAA listening, watching and playing. They speak of All-Ireland Sunday and how it has changed over the years. They each discuss the facilities and training regimes when they started playing as compared with today. They speak of the history of the club and its successes throughout the years. They talk of refereeing and the training they receive. They also discuss the pressure referees are under to make decisions. The use of two umpires is also mentioned. They explain the story behind the names of the club and the grounds. The role of women in the club is next examined and that of priests and teachers. Bart talks of working within the various bodies of the GAA. Best memories and disappointments are then discussed along with some personal anecdotes.
