Members of Cavan Gaels GAA Club

J.J Reilly, Paddy Murray, Jimmy Sheridan, Mick McCarthy and Teddy McCormack discuss the GAA in Cavan and the formation of the Cavan Gaels Gaelic Football Club in Cavan Town. They discuss how it originated from an amalgamation of two previous teams in Cavan Town; the Harps and the Slashers. They tell how Cavan Gaels bought their grounds, Terry Coyle Park and the challenge they faced in acquiring this. The group have all been involved with the GAA since childhood and they provide numerous stories about travelling to matches, playing football and about the characters they met along the way.
