Members of Belgium GAA Club

Adrian Hiel, Dave Barrett, Shane Ryan and Philip Cushen talk about their involvement with the Craobh Rua GAA club in Brussels. All moved to Belgium as young adults and quickly made contact with the local club. They discuss the challenges they faced in getting enough players to compete and securing a suitable pitch on which to train. The club soon expanded and with that came stability, which meant that they were able to field football, hurling, ladies football and camogie teams. They have travelled far and wide to tournaments, all the time working together to forge something successful and long-lasting which they hope will not only benefit them, but also those who come along in the future.
