Mary Cooke

Mary Cooke is not involved in the GAA but frequents St Michael's Irish Centre in Liverpool regularly. She recalls earliest memories of playing camogie. She talks also about going to matches when she was a child in Galway and going to matches in Croke Park when she was a nurse in Dublin. Her interview is mostly about life around the Irish Centre in Liverpool in the 1960s and up to 2008 and what Irishness means for her.
