Maeve Healy

Maeve Healy reflects on her career as a camogie player at both club and inter-county leve. She describes her time playing for Roscommon junior panel in the 1990s and recalls some of the biggest matches. She also charts her time serving various administrative roles from club, to county, to Connacht and finally national level. She discusses the difficulties involved in keeping Camogie running in a county that is predominantly football and discusses the relationship between Camogie and the GAA and Ladies Football. This interview also covers her best GAA memories, her impressions on Croke Park both as a player and a supporter and her GAA heroes.
