Jim Cantwell

Jim Cantwell did not play a lot of hurling but has supported Kilkenny all of his life. He recalls childhood memories of going matches with his father and also remembers several All-Ireland finals he attended to in the 1930s when his uncles played on the Kilkenny Senior Hurling team. He also talks at lenght about working at Smithwick's Brewery in Kilkenny. In this interview he also talks about Nowlan Park, the evolution of the games and the relation between the GAA and politics.
