Fiona McConnell

Fiona McConnell grew up in Co. Cavan where she played Ladies Gaelic Football for Drumlane and also for Cave. After moving to Liverpool, she founded John Mitchel's Ladies Football club, Liverpool. After mentioning her childhood in Cavan, she talks mainly about the setting up of the club and the challenges of managing a club outside of Ireland and her own playing career. In this interview she also mentions her interest for Irish music.
