Brian Murphy

Brian Murphy reflects on his involvement in handball in Castlebridge, Wexford. He recalls the role of the Nunn family in providing local employment and his own time working there. He describes the development of handball in the parish, including the construction of a handball alley and the success of the handball teams of the late 19th and early 20th century. Brian also discusses his coaching of juvenile handball teams, his views on the best way to coach juveniles, and the challenges of dealing with administrators. Finally, he reflects on the changing role of women in the GAA and the relationship of handball with the GAA.
