Wexford captain Murphy returns for Dublin clash

Wexford welcome their captain David Murphy back for the Leinster GAA Football Championship semi-final against Dublin at Croke Park on Sunday.

Murphy missed the two games against Longford after he was hospitalised with a leg infection, but he has been cleared to return to his regular centre-back slot, with Brian Malone moving to corner back and Niall Murphy dropping down to the bench.

There are two further changes in attack from the side that started in the 1-13 to 0-15 quarter-final replay victory over Longford, with Ciarán Lyng returning at corner forward in place of PJ Banville after recovering from a groin injury.

In the half-forward line, Paddy Byrne is given the nod ahead of Conor Carty, while Lee Chin has retained his place at No. 7 despite Aindreas Doyle's return to full fitness after hamstring problems ruled him out the last day.

Yesterday, Dublin manager Pat Gilroy named an unchanged side for the game, which is a repeat of last year's Leinster final.

Wexford (SF v Dublin): A Masterson; R Tierney, G Molloy, B Malone; A Flynn, D Murphy, L Chin; D Waters, R Quinlivan; P Byrne, S Roche, B Brosnan; C Lyng, E Bradley, R Barry.
