Weekend Inter-County Results

In Connacht, Leitrim secured their second successive FBD League title with victory over Roscommon in the final while Kildare also made it two in a row in the O'Byrne Cup final with victory over Meath.

In hurling, Kilkenny and Dublin advanced to the Walsh Cup final with wins over Galway and Wexford respectively, while in Munster, All-Ireland champions Clare cruised past UCC to advance to the Waterford Crystal Cup final. The other semi-final, between Tipperary and UL, was postponed due to an unplayable pitch.

There were also games in the Kehoe Cup quarter-finals over the weekend, while Carlow defeated Westmeath in the Walsh Shield Final.
