Weekend GAA Club Results
The two big club games this weekend were the Munster and Ulster senior provincial football finals.
In Munster, Kerry champions Austin Stacks defeated The Nire (Waterford) in a fascinating Munster Senior Club Football final, recording a 3-5 to 2-4 win.
They will face Ulster champions Slaughtneil (Derry) in the All-Ireland semi-final next February, after they defeated Omagh in a tense provincial final, 1-10 to 1-9.
Elsewhere there were provincial football finals at intermediate and junior levels in Leinster, Munster and Ulster, as well as an All-Ireland junior quarter-final in Birmingham. Also taking place this weekend were the Ladies Football senior, intermediate and junior club finals.
