Stakelum added to Tipperary backroom team
Conor Stakelum, an All-Ireland winner in 1991, has been appointed to the Tipperary backroom team as a selector.
Stakelum's appointment is the latest addition new manager Michael Ryan's (above) management team, joining Declan Fanning (coach) and John Madden and Brian Horgan (selectors).
Stakelum and Ryan are former Tipperary team-mates, having played together in the 1991 All-Ireland final win over Kilkenny.
Stakelum won an All-Ireland club title with Borris-Ileigh in 1987 and more recently has managed the North Tipperary outfit in the Tipperary SHC.
A resident of Thurles, Stakelum has also been involved with Durlas Óg at juvenile level.
