GAA Museum rated top attraction in Dublin

The GAA Museum and the Croke Park Stadium Tour has been ranked as the top place to visit in the capital by the renowned travel website TripAdvisor.

The number 1 ranking out of 218 attractions has been achieved through independent reviews posted by visitors from home and abroad, keen to rate their experience at Croke Park.

The number 1 rating reflects the popularity of the iconic stadium for both domestic and international tourists who come to Croke Park to take in the history and magic of the home of Gaelic Games. Croke Park offers visitors the opportunity to explore the GAA Museum, take an access-all-area Stadium Tour and view Dublin from 17 storeys high on the Etihad Skyline.

This is the latest accolade for Croke Park in recent months - in September, the National Geographic rated a trip to Croke Park as the top things to do in Ireland this Autumn.

Elsewhere, FlipKey.com, a TripAdvisor company, announced that through industry research and traveller feedback, the GAA Museum is among the 40 most praised and most fascinating must-see museums across the UK and Ireland. The museum has been recognised in Flipkey.com's list of 2014 Top Museums Worth Travelling For.
