The specially commissioned adverts will be run from now until the end of the GAA Football and Hurling Championships on national television as part of the Association's promotion of the competitions.
The football advert celebrates the team behind every inter-county player while the hurling version highlights the rich history associated with the small ball game.
Leo Burnetts Dublin were the creative agency for the project and the advertisements were filmed in Cabra in Dublin involving members of Na Fianna GAA Club.
Uachtarán Chumann Lúthchleas Gael Críostóir Ó Cuana expressed excitement about the new television campaign and believes it will complement the other promotional initiatives that have been organised around the championships.
He said: "These new television advertisements bring the promotion of our championship competitions to another level and feature two of the GAA's most recognisable names in Kieran Donaghy and Henry Shefflin.
"They complement initiatives being organised by our Provincial Councils and follow on from launch events that took place around the county both at national and provincial level.
"Over the course of the summer our sponsors and partners will also run their own campaigns and the ticket packages created last year will once again be on offer in an effort to attract people to attend our games.
"Our interaction with the media will see weekly bulletins following the issue of a media guide to mark the start of the championships."We hope these initiatives will help stimulate further interest in our games this summer."
