GAA.ie Footballer of the Week nominees
Che Cullen (Fermanagh)
Che Cullen inspired Rory Gallagher's rapidly improving Fermanagh outfit against Monaghan in a tense Ulster Senior Football Championship semi-final at Healy Park.
Cullen was solid throughout as Fermanagh, who had beaten Armagh at the quarter-final stage, finished strongly to secure a much coveted place in the Ulster showpiece.
Damien Comer (Galway)
Damien Comer continued his brilliant 2018 form with another assured performance in Galway's emphatic Connacht Championship success over Sligo at Pearse Stadium.
The powerful Annaghdown clubman kicked 2-3 and was a constant threat for Kevin Walsh's team, who face Roscommon at Dr Hyde Park on June 17.
Paul Geaney (Kerry)
** **
Kerry introduced a raft of Championship newcomers in the win over Clare, but Paul Geaney supplied the scores and class at Fitzgerald Stadium.
Geaney finished with a 0-7 haul, including six sweet points from play, as Kerry set up an attractive Pairc Ui Chaoimh Munster final against Cork.
