Ceist GAA returns for a second series on TG4
Returning to TG4 for a second series this autumn is TV's first ever GAA quiz show Ceist GAA. Presented by Hector Ó hEochagáin, Navan O'Mahony's own red-haired GAA encyclopedia, the 15 part series will run on TG4 from September to Christmas.
Clubs from the four provinces compete to be named as Ireland's No.1 quiz-club champions. Clubs face a tough test, battling through qualifiers, quarterfinals, semi-finals and onto the grand final.
Joining Hector this year on Ceist GAA as resident captains will be, Evanne Ní Chuilinn from RTÉ Sport and Mícheál Ó Domhnaill from TG4's GAA BEO.
The Irish language quiz will explore the odd, the remarkable, the unbelievable and the strange in the rich and varied history of the GAA. It will show hilarious GAA archive, pitch invasions, amazing and acrobatic scores, breaking of crossbars and scraps of all kinds. Ceist GAA will have them all and more.
No matter what your level of knowledge of GAA history and trivia, you'll find something here to entertain the whole family. The victorious club will lift the Ceist GAA cup and a superb training camp for their club at the luxurious Carton House in Co. Kildare under the mentorship of a GAA legend.
The series will begin Wednesday 14 September at 8:30pm and will be repeated the following Sunday at 8:45pm
