All-Ireland Football Final Match Officials
The GAA has confirmed the referees and match officials for the 2013 GAA Football All-Ireland Senior and Minor Championship finals on September 22 with Joe McQuillan being appointed to referee the Senior final.
The Cavan man will take charge of the Dublin v Mayo contest, while Conor Lane of Cork will officiate in the Minor game between Mayo and Tyrone.
This will be Joe McQuillan's second senior assignment, having previously taken charge of the 2011 final between Dublin and Kerry. The Kill Shamrock's clubman has also refereed the All-Ireland Under 21 final in 2006, All Ireland Senior Club final 2008, two Leinster Finals, one Munster Final and One Ulster Final.
In this year's Championship Joe refereed the All-Ireland Senior Championship Quarter-final clash between Mayo and Donegal, the Round III qualifier between Kildare v Tyrone, the Leinster Senior Football Semi-final involving Dublin and Kildare, the Ulster Senior Football Quarter-final when Donegal took on Tyrone, as well as the Allianz Leagues Semi-final encounter between Dublin and Mayo.
His umpires on the day will be Tommy O'Reilly, Ciarán Brady, TP Gray (all Kill Shamrocks) and Jimmy Galligan (Killygarry).
Meath's Cormac Reilly will be the standby referee, the other linesman is Padraig O'Sullivan (Kerry) and the Sideline Official will be Michael Duffy (Sligo).
Conor Lane, who will be officiating the Minor match, is a member of the Lyre/Banteer club.
In this year's Championship Conor refereed the Connacht Senior Football final involving Mayo and London, the Round II Qualifier clash between Clare and Laois, the Leinster Football Quarter-final between Wicklow and Meath and the Munster Football Quarter-final between Kerry and Tipperary.
His umpires on the day will be John Joe Lane, Joe Fleming, DJ O'Sullivan (all Lyre/Banteer), Pat Kelly (Kilshannig).
Longford's Fergal Kelly will be the standby referee, the other linesman is Anthony Nolan (Wicklow) and the Sideline Official will be Derek O'Mahoney (Tipperary).
