Wheelchair Hurling All Star Nominations
The GAA is delighted to confirm the nominations for the 2015 M. Donnelly GAA Wheelchair Hurling Interprovincial All-Stars.
The winning line-up will be announced prior to the M. Donnelly GAA Wheelchair Hurling Interprovincial All-Ireland Finals taking place this Saturday, December 12, in the Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown. The winners for Team Management of the Year, Young Player of the Year, Camogie Player of the Year and Hurler of the Year awards will also be announced this weekend.
Recently crowned Interprovincial League champions Ulster lead the way with eight All-Star nominations. Runners-Up, Munster and the Connacht sides, each secured seven nominations.
Pat Carty (Connacht) and Alex Hennebry (Leinster) are honoured twice by receiving nominations in two separate team categories, while Maurice Noonan (Munster) and Peter Lewis (Ulster) have been named in both the Young Player and Hurler of the Year, categories.
Provincial Team Management were responsible for drawing up the nomination short list, and Provincial representatives then voted in the winners.
